Kryss DeSandre is a Utah-based bikini athlete and female fitness model (USA). She began her journey after becoming dissatisfied with her body during high school.
She sculpted an impressive physique after years of dedication and intense training. Since winning her first bikini competition in 2015, Kryss has become a fitness icon around the world.
With an ever-growing social media following, Kryss is constantly looking to improve her physique and diet, inspiring others to do the same through regular motivational Instagram posts.
Kryss DeSandre Before Fitness :
Kryss was born and raised in the ‘Crossroads of the West,’ Salt Lake City, Utah (USA), and participated in a variety of sports as a child, including basketball, athletics, and cheerleading. As a result, she was born with a naturally slim frame.
However, because of her increased workload in high school, she had less time to exercise and participate in sports – Kryss began living an unhealthy lifestyle, consuming junk food and being less active.
Her metabolism slowed at this point, and she began to gain weight.
It didn’t take long for Kryss to become dissatisfied with her appearance. She was overweight for the first time in her life, and she knew she needed to change her lifestyle and get back on track with fitness.

Kryss began eating clean and working out with the help of YouTube videos after being encouraged by her husband. Soon after, she went to the gym and began lifting weights, determined to achieve her ideal physique.
Kryss began her fitness journey in 2014, when she was 19 years old.
Kryss worked out hard for a year to lose weight and tone her body. By 2015, at the age of 20, she’d regained her abs and was inspired by her gym progress.
A personal trainer approached her at this point and asked her to train. She accepted the assistance and was encouraged to compete in a fitness competition.
Kryss competed in her first show, the 2015 NPC Utah Figure contest, after 6 months of preparation. Despite her lack of experience, she performed admirably and impressed the judges.
Her hard work paid off, and she walked off the stage with first place.
Kryss began posting pictures and videos of her fitness journey on social media as part of her preparation for the 2015 NPC Utah show.
Her incredible physique and transformation inspired countless fans all over the world, and she’d become a fitness icon by 2016.

Kryss works out at the gym six days a week, taking one day off to rest and allow her body to grow. Except when she trains the chest and shoulders, she usually works on one muscle group per gym session.
Because Kryss works as both a glamour and fitness model, she focuses on developing a toned physique while avoiding bulking up. She enjoys working out her legs in particular, performing squats, leg presses, and lunges to keep her quadriceps and glutes in shape.
Kryss believes that high intensity interval training is very effective for burning calories and improving her fitness level when it comes to cardio. Kryss works out several times per week and considers it extremely beneficial for cutting before competitions.
She also rides the exercise bike whenever she can, claiming that it’s a fun way to burn fat and keep her body toned and lean.
Diet And Nutrition By Kryss DeSandre :
Kryss, unlike other bikini athletes, does not follow a strict diet plan. Instead, she eats a variety of meals while keeping track of her calories and eating clean foods.
She intends to eat 5 meals per day in order to maintain a high metabolism. But, if she’s worked hard and made progress on her figure, she allows herself a cheat meal once a week – her favourite cheat meal is burger and fries.
When it comes to dieting, Kryss believes that anyone who wants to benefit from exercise should eat well, or they are “wasting their time.” She follows a traditional diet rich in beans, tomatoes, tropical fruits, and vegetables, claiming that there is no better way to obtain healthy minerals and vitamins.
Kryss also prioritises meeting her daily macronutrient requirements. She eats a lot of protein and healthy fats like nuts, but she avoids carbohydrates at times because she doesn’t want to gain any weight.

Kryss has taught us to take action and pursue our dreams. She began living an unhealthy lifestyle in high school before changing her diet and physique to become a champion bikini athlete.
