Johnny Depp’s Welsh Adventure: Discovering Local Charm at the Home of a Poet

Welsh residents were shocked when Johnny Depp unexpectedly visited Dylan Thomas’ suburban birthplace.

The 60-year-old actor made his way down Cwmdonkin Drive in Swansea’s Uplands, stopping people in their tracks and leaving them in awe.

During his tour with his rock band Hollywood Vampires, he was in the area to look around the poet’s house.

The celebrity admitted he was “still floating” after his touristy day out and described himself as a “fiend” of Thomas.

The A-lister kept things extremely casual for his trip to Wales and covered his mop of shoulder-length hair with a crocheted beanie.

Johnny wore a pair of black jeans fastened with a silver-studded belt and a blue plaid shirt that was left unbuttoned over a yellow t-shirt.

The celebrity opened up to Nation Cymru and spoke more about his love for Thomas during his visit to the historical site.

After being in the space where Under Milk Wood first began and numerous poems were written, he acknowledged, “I’m still a little floating.” I’m so confused.
