In June, at a Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles, Kardashian revealed the couple’s pregnancy for the first time by putting up a placard that read, “Travis I’m pregnant.” The couple was married in 2022. A “urgent family matter” involving Barker caused Blink-182 to postpone the band’s European tour dates on September 1. On September 6, almost a week later, Kardashian posted on Instagram about undergoing “urgent foetal surgery” in order to rescue their unborn child.
Kardashian wrote in her post, “Praise be to God,” that she has a whole new respect and understanding for mothers who have had to fight for their unborn children. The greatest blessing was being able to leave the hospital with my baby son safely and inside my tummy.
Kardashian said in a Vogue interview on October 17 that her scan revealed a problem with her baby that needed to be surgically fixed. This experience introduced me to a completely new aspect of pregnancy that I was previously unaware of.

She described the event as horrifying. I had no notion that insurance usually only pays for two ultrasounds during a pregnancy until I found out later. I’ve always had the good fortune to receive care beyond what my insurance will pay for, and one of those ultrasounds actually saved my baby’s life.
The couple underwent a protracted in vitro fertilisation process before welcoming their newest child.
In addition, Kardashian is a mother to the three kids she had with her ex-partner Scott Disick: daughter Penelope and sons Mason and Reign.
Barker and his former partner Shanna Moakler are parents to three children together: stepdaughter Atiana, who is Moakler’s child with her ex-partner Oscar De La Hoya, son Landon, and daughter Alabama.
