Celebrate your past without feeling bad, it’s an important part of the story that has shaped the amazing person you are today

We come across various scenarios as we go through life that aid in our learning and development in past. Some of these encounters are positive, while others are not easy. We gain knowledge from each of these encounters, and as we advance, we can use that knowledge to prepare for obstacles we will later encounter.

We gain knowledge from each of these encounters, and as we advance, we can use that knowledge to prepare for obstacles we will later encounter.

This helps us better prepare for life and gets us to reflect on areas of it that we might not have given enough thought to before.

Furthermore, while every day of our lives has something to teach us, there are some lessons that we should make the guiding principles of our lives.

Our sensitivity and capacity for responsible behavior increase as a result. Because of the unpleasant experiences we endure, many people frequently feel victimized. We frequently conceal it because we feel somewhat to blame.

But we shouldn’t let anyone, or anything make us feel that way at any time. We are who we are today because of our past. It provided us with difficult moments so that we may cherish and relish the good times.

  1. I could not of said this statement or worded it any better.. I have a feeling that this was for me. Could be wrong!!! Not being conceited.. Just convinced. I went through some rough stages growing up.. Things that I would never wish on anyone. I don’t hold anything against anyone.. Put it this way I am 7 out of 8 children.. (4&4) I have no regrets about things that should of never happen. I didn’t let it affect my future. I love my family. I was one of the lucky ones when it came to that. I didn’t go down the wrong path and let my past control the out come of my future. I didn’t turn to drinking or get on drugs. I thank God for that.. Not saying I didn’t dabble here and there.. But I did hit bottom in 2001 one when my 9 year old nephew took his own life. He was like my first child. My sister had 3 boys. I left home a 14 to go help her with her first child. Then she has another one and I was there too help with him. Until I realized that I am 16 and missing out on my teenage years. I told her I going back home. (Maybe I was wrong for that). After a few years , her husband got sent off to Desert Storm. She pregnant again. After she had him that’s when I got with my kids his dad and I didn’t have to work so I watched him 24/7 and I keep was with me and my kids and Dad I mean breakfast lunch dinner you name it he was there weekends I had all my nieces and nephews and then it happened yep that’s when I went down the wrong path. That one controlled my future not long but it did it still hurts. But if I can live through what I live through and make it through anybody can do it. It’s in the past leave it in the past can’t change the past but you can control your future. Even when my dad was on his Deathbed the thing he said to me said it to me twice once when I was four and once when he was on his death bed. I was crying too when I said you can’t die yet and he asked me why and I was like well he’s going to walk me down the aisle and he looked at me and he goes he’s ever going to want to marry you?? And here it is I’m 53 never been married go figure maybe he knew something I didn’t all right thanks guys for letting me share sorry I babbled sorry I made my short story not too short. If my story can help just one person then it was worth me telling my story. Thank you to my favorite person. I hope you read this. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart love you more than you’ll ever know.
