Yellowjackets follows this situation through a split timeline that also monitors how the survivors are faring (or not) in the present. What’s the deal with the woods? is an intriguing puzzle that may involve supernatural elements, and the addition of teens eating people makes for a show that no one can stop theorising about. There is a brand-new Yellowjackets Season 2 official trailer now available. On March 9, Showtime released the first full look at Season 2, which included more of the elements that were hinted at in the first teaser.
Winter is approaching in the 1990s timeline as seen in the first Season 2 teaser trailer, which was released in January. Meanwhile, the present-day survivors are still coping with the “darkness” they brought back with them. A glimpse of Elijah Wood as Walter, who tells Misty (Christina Ricci), “Kidnapping, cults, death — your friendships are a little more complicated than most,” is also shown in the teaser.

What Is Yellowjackets Season 2 Total Episode List release date?
On March 24th, Showtime will air the Yellowjackets Season 2 premiere. With the aid of a mysterious video, the release date was revealed in December 2022.
What Is Yellowjackets Season 2 Total Episode List Cast?
This season, there will be more air crash survivors. Lauren Ambrose (Servant) will be joining the cast as an adult Van in addition to Obi-Wan Kenobi actress Simone Kessell playing an adult Lottie.
Elijah Wood has been invited to make a guest appearance on the show. The former Lord of the Rings actor will play Walter, a nosy citizen detective who appears to be aware of Misty’s evil deeds, in the contemporary plot.

After being shunned by her teammates, Jackie (Ella Purnell) died in a shocking accident in the snow, and Travis’s brother Javi (Luciano Leroux) went missing following the girls’ hallucinogenic night in the woods. In the present, we learned that Natalie (Juliette Lewis) was taken from her motel room and put into a van.
There are many questions going into Season 2: What became of Sophie Nelisse’s (Shauna) child? The Antler Queen: Who is she? Will we finally learn which girl was escaping death at the start of Episode 1? What’s the (possibly paranormal) story about the woods? How soon will the cannibalism occur? If we do our jobs well, the eating of a person won’t be the most sinister thing that these young women do in the wilderness, co-showrunner Jonathan Lisco said in a March interview with Entertainment Weekly.
What Is Yellowjackets Season 3 renewal?
Season 2 won’t be our final excursion into the wild. Yellowjackets was given a third season by Showtime before the start of Season 2. On December 15, 2022, Chris McCarthy, the president and CEO of Showtime and Paramount Media Networks, made the announcement.
That moves Yellowjackets one step closer to the five-season arc that its creators envision for the show. The original plan was five seasons, and we feel like we’re still on track for that, said co-creator Ashley Lyle to EW in March. While things do change, according to Lyle, the Showtime production team does not anticipate the show to last longer than five seasons.
