A 13-year-old student of a former Texas middle school teacher was allegedly sexually molested by her on multiple occasions, leading to her arrest on Wednesday.
According to The Laredo Morning Times, an arrest affidavit claims that 27-year-old Adriana Mariel Rullan engaged in “sexual intercourse/sexual contact with the boy on 12 occasions.”
The former Antonio Gonzalez Middle School teacher was arrested on Wednesday and freed on bond, according to Webb County Jail documents that PEOPLE examined.
According to the jail logs, Rullan has been accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student, having intercourse with a minor, and sexually abusing a child under the age of fourteen on a regular basis.
The boy’s parents reportedly became concerned when money started to appear in his CashApp account out of the blue, according to the affidavit cited by The Morning Times. According to the complaint, the boy’s stepfather allegedly discovered repeated payments from a profile under Rullan’s name when going through the boy’s phone, the publication adds. According to the site, the affidavit also claims that the youngster had a contact saved on his phone that had Rullan’s name and pink hearts next to it.
According to the affidavit, the school administrator additionally collected pictures of the images that Rullan had provided the boy. These images showed her in a bikini, her underwear exposing her breasts with hickies, and other compromising sexual images of her. The Morning Times reported on this.
Reports from local KGNS-TV Although Rullan’s identity has not been released, the United Independent School District in Texas has stated in a statement that it is aware of an event involving a former teacher and that the instructor has been placed on leave.
The school released a statement saying that UISD has been informed of the arrest of a former employee on a number of offences.
