Florence Pugh’s Braless Punk Bride-Inspired Look at the ELLE Style Awards

The ‘Oppenheimer’ heroine wowed in a translucent white lace gown by Alexander McQueen at the London event. Florence Pugh’s recent red carpet style makes a powerful statement.

The Oppenheimer actress, 27, wore a beautiful bridal-inspired gown with a twist at the 2023 ELLE Style Awards in London on Tuesday. Under the exquisite translucent mesh and lace halter-style dress by Alexander McQueen, Pugh went braless.Her new hairdo, a spiky platinum blonde pixie, and nose ring gave her look a punk-rock edge. Pugh accessorised with Tiffany & Co. jewellery, including a set of pearl drop earrings and a pearl ring, and her blue manicure gave a splash of colour.

This isn’t the first time the Little Women star has dared to go braless in such a revealing outfit. She attended a Valentino Haute Couture fashion show in Rome in July 2022, dressed in a hot pink tulle gown that revealed her nipples below.

In an Instagram post at the time, she joked about her revealing costume, writing, “Technically they’re covered?accompanying many close-up pictures of herself in the garment.

However, after receiving some negative comments, Pugh responded the next day with another post defending the risky appearance. Listen, I knew when I wore that magnificent Valentino gown that there would be a criticism on it. We were all aware of what we were doing, whether it was useful or bad.
