Johnny Depp’s Garage: Exploring the 10 Coolest Cars in His Collection

Johnny Depp is one of Hollywood’s most brilliant and well-liked performers; it’s difficult to find anyone who hasn’t seen and enjoyed one of his films, such as Pirates of the Caribbean or the Fantastic Beasts series.

Today, we’re less interested in his films and more interested in his automobile collection – and it’s evident from just a glance that Johnny has a true love in anything automotive.

Johnny has a tremendous selection of motors, ranging from stunning historic automobiles to modern luxury SUVs, some of which would easily be classified as dream cars for everyday gearheads like ourselves. Each car in the collection is his for one reason or another, so let’s look at what he has and try to figure out why.

Rolls-Royce Wraith:

We’ll start with a luxury automobile suited for an actor as well-known as Johnny Depp. These opulent versions start at just over $300,000 new, so you’d have to be a very skilled actress if you wanted to buy one.Given that he’s been photographed swanning around in it multiple times, there’s reason to suppose this is one of his favourites cars.

Many people will be astonished by how powerful this premium coupe is, with a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 under the hood.

Ferrari 488 Spider:

The Wraith is fine for most times, but if Johnny Depp needs to go somewhere quickly, he should take this stunning Ferrari. It’s packed with enticing technology, looks like it’s right out of a movie, and has a top speed of 205 mph.

Despite having almost the same amount of torque and power as the Wraith, the 488 is a very different beast. It’s delivered in a far more flamboyant manner in the Ferrari, with screaming exhaust pipes, and thanks to the significantly lower curb weight, it’ll also drive down the road much faster.

Land Rover Range Rover:

The Range Rover is more than just a car for many celebrities; it’s a status symbol, and it’s also the ultimate one-car garage in many ways. This SUV is ideal for all seasons, has a luxurious cabin, and will blend in perfectly when necessary.

It may not be the fastest, most powerful, or even the most luxurious vehicle, but it moves quickly enough to be useful when needed without sacrificing comfort – a wonderful all-rounder.

Porsche 911 993 Carrera S:

This is unquestionably one of our favourites on the list, as it demonstrates plainly that Johnny Depp is a genuine car fanatic. The 993 is the last of the air-cooled 911s, and as such, it will go down in history as a significant model, with great handling characteristics and sparkling performance.

The figures aren’t as impressive as some of his other performance vehicles, but this Porsche is all about the driving experience. The 282 horsepower will be more than enough to get the tail slapping, and the decent acceleration time will ensure that it still feels punchy when powering out of a tight corner.

Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet:

This S650 Cabriolet is a wonderful flagship model from the German luxury manufacturer and another outrageously expensive and impressively opulent automobile in the collection. We can almost picture ourselves riding shotgun in this, tearing along coastal highways on our way to the most exclusive and upmarket restaurants and hotels.

We can’t believe how much torque this ferocious Mercedes-Maybach produces, despite the fact that torque has long been a signature party piece of these high-powered German vehicles.

Lincoln Navigator:

This Lincoln, like the Range Rover above, is a massive beast that is ideal for when Johnny is on the job. A 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 440 horsepower lies under the hood, so it’s no slouch either. Johnny can live comfortably inside, with plenty of modern electronics to keep him connected while on the move.

Despite a significant amount of power, this Lincoln is all about elegance and comfort; we bet Johnny wouldn’t even notice changes from the ultra-modern 10-speed automatic gearbox.

Chevrolet Nova:

If Johnny Depp is such a fan of muscle cars, why doesn’t he invest in something more prestigious? That’s an easy one to answer: Johnny used to sleep in this Nova before he became affluent and famous. Due to the strong personal attachment, he refuses to sell it now.

An old-school V8 muscle car invokes nostalgia like nothing else on American roads, and we’re sure it makes a magnificent sound as well.

BMW 7 Series:

This premium car is a fantastic ride, with superb comfort levels and almost every optional addition you could imagine, and then some! If Johnny has to get there fast and comfortably, there aren’t many cars he could choose.

We doubt Johnny will ever drive on the Autobahn, but if he does, this is the vehicle he should choose. Thanks to an excellently furnished cabin and a strong twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the 740i will eat up kilometres with a remarkable turn of speed in absolute comfort.

Lamborghini Aventador:

This Lamborghini Aventador, maybe the most aesthetically outstanding automobile in his collection, stands out as the top performer. With over 700 horsepower hidden beneath those muscular panels, this Lamborghini is not for the faint of heart.

All-wheel drive keeps it from being too overwhelming and difficult to control, and the most of the engineering is handled by Audi, so we’re confident it’s quite well put together and trustworthy.

Chevrolet Corvette C1:

We almost probably saved the finest for last, and without a doubt the most fashionable – just look at this thing! We can only image how wonderful it would be to cruise around in this fantastic classic in this red and white colour combo. What greater role for Johnny Depp than that of a true American icon?

The statistics and stats may suggest anything, but we’re OK with a big V8 up front, a couple of seats in the middle, and some polished tailpipes out back. It’ll be quite lively for driving around, and there’ll definitely be enough torque to spin the tyres up when the mood strikes!
