Disney was “seemingly inching to keep the door open” to working with Depp again, according to a June 5 New York Times report.
Only a year after Depp and his ex-wife’s Amber Heard libel lawsuit and trials, a potential return of Jack Sparrow is expected.

Depp, on the other hand, recently told People that rumors of his comeback to the Pirates of the Caribbean films was untrue. He is also alleged to have rejected any idea of a return, even if it was for a massive $300 million.

Jack has rejoined the team. There is simply too much potential box-office gold for a popular Disney character deeply ingrained in the society.
